How you get paid
Powered by Stripe Connect
Creator commissions and filmmaker payouts run on Stripe Connect Express — the same rails used by YouTube, Substack and Shopify. Transparent, automatic, and paid directly to your bank.
Step 01
Apply & Onboard
Apply as a creator. Once approved, you complete a 2-minute Stripe Connect onboarding with your name, address and bank / debit card. Stripe verifies your identity — we never see or store your bank details.
Step 02
Share & Track
You get a personal referral link and code. Every pledge attributed to you is tracked in real time in your dashboard, with a 30-day cookie window and post-purchase code entry.
Step 03
Automatic Payouts
Commissions are calculated on every successful, non-refunded pledge and paid out weekly by Stripe (net 14 days) once you clear the $50 minimum.

The fine print
- • Paid via Stripe Connect Express — bank transfer, debit card or Instant Payout.

- • Stripe processing fees are absorbed by FilmCrowd — you keep the headline rate.
- • US creators: Stripe issues a 1099-NEC automatically at year-end. International creators: local tax forms handled inside Connect.
- • Refunded / chargeback pledges reverse the associated commission.

No. Most of our creators come from social, gaming, lifestyle, or comedy backgrounds. If you have an audience that trusts you, you can start earning.
+How do commissions work?
You get a unique affiliate link and code. Anyone who pledges through it credits you up to 15% of that pledge, tracked automatically in your dashboard.
+How do I get paid?
Payouts are processed via Stripe once you cross the minimum threshold. You'll see live balance and payout history in your creator dashboard.
+Can anyone apply?
Yes — from micro to mega. We review every application and match creators to the right campaigns.
+Can international creators join?
